Christian Action Guild: Support Golden families who are in crisis situations by brining food, diapers or clothing.  Contact Dawn Kapustka 303.278.0424

Faith Knotters Quilting Group:  Join a dedicated group of women who meet at Faith to make quilts for Lutheran World Relief, Jeffco Action Center, St John Hospice and other community service organizations.  Contact Glenis Peterson 303.238.0389

Faith Prayer Quilts Group:  Meet on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month at 10 AM, September through May, to make prayer quilts fo people who are ill, stressed or otherwise in need.  It is not necessary to be a quilter to join this group.  People are needed to write on hearts, cut fabric, sew quilt tops, machine quilt, and hand sew bindings.  Contact Lix Boxler 303.271.1778

Family Outreach (FV):  Enhance the importance of family values and express God's Word through outreach to those in need.  Join other families (parents and children) for four annual projects helping the elderly, developmentaly disabled, homeless, foster children, orphans in other countries and the environment.  Grandparents welcome.  Contact the church office 303-279-5379

Interfaith Hospitality Network:  Faith hosts families that are temporarily homeless for seven consecutive days four times a year.  Volunteers are needed to provide and serve evening meals, drive vans, host an evening, overnight or activity; and provide food for a breakfast or lunch.  Time commitment ranges from one evening to the entire week.  Contact Fred Setzer 303.278.1355 fsetzer@netscape.com

Mission Trips:  Youth Mission Trips are available as service projects.  We travel to Mexico to work with Casas Por Christo and other programs focus on the US.  Contact the church office at 303.279.5379.

Rebuilding together:  Local organization committed to help the elderly and disabled individuals remain in their homes.  A "Day Of Service" commences when home repair projects are completed on a Saturday.  Individuals with basic carpentry skills are needed.  Contact Dot Brownson 303.278.2480 hotdot2@comcast.net

Visitation Team:  Help make shutin, disabled, elderly or hospitalized persons feel loved and cared for.  Opportunities are available to visit a single person on a regular basis or focus on a particular need (i.e. hospitals).  Home-baked breads are also available for delivery.  Contact Karen Setzer 303.279.5379 karen@faithgolden.org
