This ministry exists to partner with parents and caregivers to help children learn how to begin and develop a relationship with Jesus, and to lay the foundation for a missional lifestyle while nurturing the relationship of children and their families.

Nursery: Birth - 3 yrs old
Sunday School: 4 yrs - 5th grade
NURSERY CARE
Children birth through 3 years are nurtured in the love of Jesus in a safe, loving environment. Caring volunteers share the love of Jesus with your young children as they have fun through play and movement in a space set up just for them. Children are returned to the Worship Center for Blessing with their families to close the service.
SUNDAY SCHOOL
Kids age 4 thru 5th grade explore what it means to have a lifelong relationship with God through age-appropriate lessons and activities. As they explore God’s character throughout the Bible, kids discover what it means to reflect the heart of God in everyday life. Kids return to the Worship Center for Communion and Blessing with their families to close the service.
In addition to the group time on Sunday mornings, we are intentional about empowering parents to live out the story of Deuteronomy 6 with their families.
Program runs from September to May.
FAITH MILESTONES
Faith formation is a life-long journey. By celebrating milestones - significant events in the lives of children, youth, and families - we recognize how God is always present in our lives. Through these celebrations, we equip families to practice their faith at home and encourage engagement in our community.

Baptism – Parents who wish to have their child baptized are encouraged to visit with Pastor Jane.

FAITH Family Bible Time – One of the exciting responsibilities we have as a community of faith is helping our children discover how amazing God’s story is, in their Bibles. FAITH Family Bible Time is our chance to come together and do just this! Watch for our next FAITH Family Bible opportunity for all families with children who are learning to read up through 5th grade and all in our FAITH family who would like to walk alongside these families. Your child will receive their own Bible and you will all have fun with family Bible activities.

Communion Exploration – Celebrating communion is a part of our weekly gathering, and we encourage families with children first grade or older to join us for a time of discovery and learning together to prepare children for taking part in this important gift Jesus gave. Communion Exploration Worshops are held during Lent, with Communion Celebration during Maundy Thursday Worship of Holy Week.
KIDS CAMP
Join us for Scuba – Summer 2024 – Registration Opens April 1
July 15-19, 9 am-1 pm. The theme is Scuba…Diving into Friendship with God!
Kids will dive below the surface to build a strong faith. They will go on an amazing undersea adventure where they'll experience the ever-flowing, never-ending love of God. At Kids Camp, kids will be immersed in the Word and discover what living water is really all about!
Kids Camp is for kids age 4 – entering 6th grade. We also love volunteers. Must be entering 7th grade to volunteer.
Kids Camp is filled with unforgettable Bible-learning experiences. They will see, hear, touch, and even taste! Plus, hands-on service projects and mission work. Plan to join us for one of the best weeks of the summer!
RAINBOW TRAIL LUTHERAN CAMP
A Rainbow Trail camp experience is like no other. Your kids will deepen their faith, make new friends, develop valuable leadership skills, and experience life-changing moments, all while surrounded by the beauty of God’s creation, the love of Jesus and the grace of the incredible staff of RTLC! Camps for kids entering 2nd grade—high school. Camps for kids and families.
Memorial Day Work Weekend: Each year a group from FAITH goes to RTLC to help with final projects to get ready for the upcoming camp season. In exchange for our service, the entire weekend is FREE. We stay in cabins and are fed like kings and queens! (If you haven’t heard yet, food at RTLC is awesome!) This weekend is a great opportunity to see camp and meet some of their amazing staff. Enjoy worship….camp-style, s’mores, fellowship and much more! All ages welcome…families, grandparents, couples, singles.
SOUTH TABLE MOUNTAIN PRESCHOOL
Faith Lutheran Church operates South Table Mountain Preschool, a faith-based learning environment for children ages 2½ to 5. STMP is a ministry of Faith Lutheran Church, therefore, an integral part of our community.
Our program is designed to develop the whole child’s spiritual, socio-emotional, cognitive, and physical needs.
