Dayna Dowdy

Hi! I am Dayna Dowdy. I live in Golden with my husband and two daughters. I am an employment lawyer at a law firm in Cherry Creek.  My family and I truly enjoy the beautiful outdoor blessings of living in Colorado – you can always find us doing something outside - skiing, camping, off-roading, paddle-boarding, or biking!  I also love to read – my favorite thing is to either read outside in the sun in the summer or by the lit fireplace in the winter!

I first started coming to FAITH when I was pregnant with my first daughter, and have been part of the FAITH since that time over ten years ago! I was drawn to FAITH because it is so welcoming to children and has such amazing children’s programs. Throughout the years, I have enjoyed becoming part of the community, and I truly feel welcome and at peace when I am at FAITH.  Both of my daughters were baptized at FAITH by Pastor Jane on January 1, 2017!

My favorite thing to do at FAITH is working with the kids and youth - whether it be as a Sunday School teacher, as part of Kids Camp, or helping with youth group dinners! I am grateful that God helped me find such an amazing place to worship as FAITH, and I love being part of the Church Council to further help give back to this wonderful community.
