In Biblical times oil was a highly valued commodity and used in rituals/traditions especially around royalty. When someone was anointed with oil, they were set apart for something special. When Jesus came along, he baptized people with water to set them apart or anoint them. Could the same be true for us? What does it mean to be an “anointed one” Join us this weekend as we look at the power of anointing and being an anointed one!
